北高叢品系

品種名:Legacy(中譯:莱格西) (レガシー)

發表時間:1993年Elizabeth、Bluecropなどの交配種。

樹型及特性: 樹勢:強，樹姿為直立性,樹高:約1.8ｍ(有一說樹高18. -2.1m ),果實生長性高(有一說果實產量:中).土壤適應性高 適合溫帶地區種植，收穫期長。

收  穫  期:中-晚生種(有一說為中生種) (各地不同，僅供參考)

果實大小、特性: :中粒(有一說中-大粒)，果皮為明青色,風味絕佳

1993年美国新泽西州发表的品种，中～晚熟种。树直立型。果粒中～大，甜度BX14.0%,酸度pH3.44，有香味。丰产性强。果实甜中带酸，较受人喜爱。果实贮藏性好，便于运输。

LEGACY

Rated as the highest flavor blueberry overall. High production of medium sized light blue fruit are firm and will keep you with fresh berries for up to 6 weeks or longer.

Hardiness Zones: USDA 5-9
Size at Maturity: 6 -8 ft . high by 5 ft . wide.
Soil Preference: Acid 4.5 to 5.5 pH. Light Needs: Full sun or partial shade.

Legacy is similar to a high quality highbush variety in flavor and yield. Because it's parented by a Vaccinium Darrowi and Florida 48, Legacy is very adaptable to different soil types like the southern types. Vigorous, upright growth about 4' to 6' tall, with foliage that stays evergreen in mild North West winters like Oregon & Washington state. In colder winter areas Legacy leaves turn red. Grows well in mid Atlantic states including New jersey and North Carolina . Ripens after bluecrop which is usually hard to grow in the same regions, especially mid Atlantic southern states. Production is high, berries are light blue and medium large. Has rated high in flavor trials. Good landscape plant, crimson fall color. Space 4' to 6' circle. Zone 5-8.

LEGACY在日本某些網站把它歸類在南高叢品系~~但藍莓大圖鑑把它歸類在北高叢品系~~我查了一些美國網站也發現美國也分兩派，分別把LEGACY區分為南高叢品系及北高叢品系~~我猜日本會分兩派說法應該是源自美國啦~~我取得時它的日本標籤是寫北高叢啦(大關出口的~~Northern Highbush Blueberry))~~所以我把它歸類為北高叢品系啦~~

以下這個網站就把它歸在南高叢品系

LEGACY很難得耶~~難得有北高叢品系的種在台灣還能開花結果~~

我有買另外二款北高叢品系的~~chandler及spartan

其中chandler已搖搖欲墜~~spartan更是早早仙去了

所以LEGACY真的是異數~~在台灣還能存活

據查得資料所載LEGACY也是風味不錯的品種哦~~
